Automower Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning and regular maintenance is an important part in keeping your lawnmower healthy. Here is the recommended maintenance that I follow to keep my lawn robot healthy and happy.

• Replace the blades
  • Husqvarna Long Life Safety Blades should be replaced every 6-8 weeks and Husqvarna Endurance Safety Blades every 3-4 months.
• Clean at least every 3-6 months, depending on use. I clean mine thoroughly every 6 months. Mine is ran 8 hours, 4x a week.
• During cleanings, inspect:
  • Rubber boots for joysticks
  • Rubber gromets that wiring runs through into the chassis.
  • Collision joysticks – check for cracks/breaks or loose
  • Wheels for worn/missing knobs
